PCN Britain welcomed the theologian Thomas Jay Oord for a series of lectures and discussions in the North of England. Working with partners and friends at St Mark's Sheffield, the Universities chaplaincy in Leeds, Oasis Church in Hull, York St John University and the Student Christian Movement, we were able to host a series of free events around the region in which Dr Oord talked about his experiences of being tried for heresy and then expelled from his denomination, as well as opening up discussions on 'Christianity after deconstruction' and 'open and relational theology'.
