About Us

The Galilee Online Group is a web-based PCN group meeting on the 2nd Sunday of each month. It currently has more than 50 participants in the UK and US. Galilee Online uses Zoom technology for its meetings, beginning with a presentation for approximately 30-45 minutes, and then followed by group discussion, sometimes in small breakout groups, and at other times in one large group. We study topics from theology to current events, with an emphasis on social and economic justice, and we help each other to put our faith into action with resources and sharing of information about current campaigns.

The Galilee Online Group is an outgrowth of The Galilee Course, which is a web-based 10-session introduction to Christianity developed by the Rev Tim Yeager as an alternative to Alpha. Most group participants are those who have taken the course, but any interested person is welcome to join the group, regardless of whether they have taken the Galilee Course. We are an official PCN group, but without a physical location, and we abide by the Eight Points and principles of PCN.

We typically meet for up to 90 minutes on 2nd Sunday nights, beginning at 8:00 pm, London Time. The group convenor is the Rev Tim Yeager, a retired (but active) Anglican priest living in Waltham Abbey, Essex. All are welcome! If you are interested in participating, please contact Tim at rtyeager@gmail.com .
